CEA

The CEA is a major player in research, serving the State, the economy and citizens. Drawing on excellence in fundamental research, it provides practical solutions to their needs in four main areas:

• Low-carbon energy (nuclear and renewable)
• Digital technologies
• Technologies for the medicine of the future
• Defence and security.

CEA will manage and coordinate the RealHyFC project and partners, and bring an outstanding experience on H2 use and technology transfer. Thanks to their strong expertise on PEMFC innovation and technical developments, from stack components design to protocols and testing, characterizations and modelling for understanding, online algorithms (including state observers), fuel cell system control and energy management, CEA will ensure valuable R&I with direct involvement into experimental and modelling investigations towards new developments on stacks and monitoring and their implementation for final validation.
